Hartley Discovery Day is this Sunday, 3 May!

Coffee is on from 9 and all your PM faves plus a few more from 10 in the cafe. Explore the village, do a tour and check out the market stalls.

We are also very excited to host violist Skye Evans from 10 till 1, a dynamic performer and storyteller with a penchant for the unexpected. She plays and sings new Americana, indie folk, retro love songs, ecowarrior ballads, disestablishment cabaret and dusty blues.

This morning I was invited to speak about Hartley on the Ask Roz Blue Mountains show on Radio Blue Mountains 89.1. Of course I didnt hesitate, I LOVE our valley.
Ask Roz Blue Mountains are encouraging folk to come and visit and support our local businesses, especially during the highway closure, after all Hartley is only just 15mins out from Lithgow, so still very accessible.
I spoke about the different parts of Hartley, the community and its businesses. I suggeted people come for the day or even stay.
I spoke about the upcoming events, that I was aware of, and invited the wider community to come and immerse themselves in our beautiful valley.
I have enjoyed seeing other locals, while visiting our wonderful businesses. It warms my heart. I know they are all struggling, we love and support you through this difficult time and I hope the chat on radio brings even more visitors to our beautiful valley.
