On Sunday, the cars and bikes are coming, the music's playing, the windfarm crew is in attendance and the "kettle is boiling" . A little harder to get to, but well worth the effort.

When your a cafe and you aren't in the middle of town you need to do something special to survive. We reckon we have the best coffee on the highway, all these cars and their occupants might suggest that we are right. Inside was full too.

There's a lot of people that now make a stop at Fairway Coffee & Eatery an essential part of their journey. This is Dennis and Tiny from Geelong, they're on their way home from S.A.
They've been stopping here occaisionally for about 6 years.
Just having a stroll after Dennis has enjoyed a Sunday roast.
Something you don't get to experience at a lot of eatery's.

We tested out the versatility of the little shop again today. Fairway Coffee & Eatery became a business meeting place for a business with offices in Geelong and Warrnambool. The organiser was impressed with the view of the course and the privacy and quietness of the room.
There were several thanks for the amazing food,, coffee and hot chocolate, "who would've thought in Lismore".
We served chips, nuts and lollies for arrival, Jitts pork skewers, our seasoned tenders, party pies, dumplings, pizza and sandwiches for lunch.

I was delivering these sandwiches to a small meeting the other day. A lady appeared on my left and said "you make the nicest sandwiches" and held the door open for me. Todays left over roast nakes an excellent gourmet sandwich tomorrow. The little things that people say can make a big difference to ones day.

In hospitality you can never be sure. At 8.30am last Sunday the sun was shining and I thought this will be a busy day with the cars, bikes, music and coffee. By 9.30am, when Kim arrived to set up, it had rained and the sun was no longer shining. But we prepared anyway, adding scones with jam 'n cream and scones with sultana to the menu. About 13 cars turned up plus followers, all the scones got eaten, the doughnuts disappeared and the coffee machine was kept busy. Thanks to Kirsty, Phoenix and Zac every one got fed and "watered". Kim entertained the crowd,mostly inside but some outside, and the cool cars and bikes were shown off in all their glory.
