Hello dear customers, tomorrow the 23rd of Feb we will be closing at 1pm. This is due to kitchen renovations taking place to help us deliver the best food and service possible. Business will resume as normal on Thursday the 24th.

It has come to our attention that there is some negative talk circulating about us in regards to a Wake we hosted for a customer today, so, before it blows into something that it need not be, allow me to add in the actual details so those interested can be properly informed.
We were approached by the family and later the funeral director dealing with the funeral of a dear friend and customer of ours whom had lost his father earlier this week. We were given documentation via messenger from the funeral home that states the rules around funerals and wakes during this time. I in turn did my due diligence as any and all business owners would and have found that we are indeed able to not only have a funeral with 10 people but also a wake provided the wake is not hosted in a privet residence but must be hosted at a commercial venue. After being asked and confirmed that it was within the legal requirements at this time, we could not in all honesty say no. We were told it would be a good idea to print off the attached documents so onlookers would understand what was happening and that it is done within current covid19 restriction requirements, unfortunately we were unable to print said document last night and so we are now having this conversation.
We are in no way taking this restriction lightly, nor are we trying to profit from a wake, this was done with love and for those that know us best know this is how we operate. No venue at this time would host a wake for 10 people and this is the truth. We could, so we did. Share the love responsibly.
I hope people can find time to build up those in their community instead of working hard to pick fault and tear anyone down. We are all better than this.

Its nice to be able to share a small blessing in such a tough time. We were able to legally host a wake for one of our dear customers, who has lost his father earlier this week, we were touched to be able to hold the wake at our venue in these times, as the family isn’t allowed to hold the wake with anymore then 10 people, nor allowed to have the awake in a residences.
Our thoughts are with the family.
