Café Lyon is a bustling French Bistro in Lindfield on Sydney's upper North Shore, that has been inspired by the humble neo-bistro’s that have been flourishing in the various arrondissements of Paris, and of course, the traditional Bouchon’s of Lyon. We aim to bring together the best of these inspirations ~ with a fresh, contemporary twist to suit the beautiful, local produce that is made availabl

We are excited to be returning to our regular trading hours this evening. Dinner Tuesday to Saturday & lunch on Thursdays & Fridays. We have had a fantastic response to our takeaway menu and are now running it from Tuesday to Saturday. Thank you for your support and words of encouragement over the last few months they have shone a bright light through some dark days. We look forward to welcoming you soon 🥂

THANK YOU!

The last few weeks have been extremely challenging... but in dark times even the smallest rays of sunshine bring light and hope.

My team and I have been overwhelmed by the support and empathy that has come our way from our customers, friends & our wonderful suppliers.

Your words, posts & emails brought smiles and joy into our world.

UPDATE: The response to our takeaway menu has been Incredible. After a career working in fine dining restaurants around the world (and a little French Bistro) takeaway is a new concept for us and we’re going to take a few days to brainstorm our takeaway menu and our “Cafe Lyon @ Home” pre-prepared meals.

We’ll be up and running with our new takeaway menu this Friday night with the same delicious French Flavours cooked with love that you enjoy @ Cafe Lyon....keep an eye on cafelyon.com.au for updates.

Once again THANK YOU for your ongoing support whilst we adapt our business to suit these new times.

Maxxie, one of our favourite locals is keen to know what’s happening at Café Lyon with government announced changes.

We’ll be will be announcing some exciting initiatives over the next day or so!

GOOD NEWS is that whilst we’re temporarily not able to accept dine-in reservations - we’re still OPEN FOR BUSINESS and have a great takeaway menu (check it out online).. we’ll start doing deliveries shortly (watch this space) & are working on delivering pre-made meals that are ready to heat.

If you have a favourite dish you’d like to see in our Cafe Lyon @ Home Range - leave us a comment below.

But the best news for Maxxie is.. we will be offering Doggie Bags for our 4 legged friends.

Message to our valued guests and friends

In these uncertain times, we’d like to take the opportunity to let our valued customers know that we are making changes to our current dining arrangements, to allow for you to continue enjoying your time dining at Café Lyon - whilst meeting standards to cater for the health of our customers and staff.

The changes we’ll be making are:
⁃ Reducing our available bookings and implementing the guidelines of social distancing by creating extra space between our dining tables

Additionally:
⁃ Regular sanitising of stations throughout our venue
⁃ Sanitising tables chairs and furnishings before and after each sitting
⁃ Sanitising procedures increased for staff to wash hands before and after key movements such as serving guests and handling money
⁃ Continuous sanitising of EFPOS machines, door handles hand rails etc

⁃ Just a friendly reminder that we offer take away services Tuesday though Saturday night from 5pm and lunch on Thursday and Friday from 12pm. Simply call us on 02 9416 5026 to place your order.
