A big shout out to the legendary Matt Bayes for spending the first half of the week working on this incredible sign! Matt is also the designer behind our Lewi Blues & Roots logo and poster. A big part of the Southern Beaches community and the local blues scene Matt has gone above and beyond to get this event happening!

If you’re heading down to Dodges it sits at the scenic drive turn off into Dodges off Forcett road. You can’t miss it!

The Lewisham Tavern has been hosting live music for more than 25 years! We’re sure you all have great memories of seeing live music at the Lewi. It must have pretty awesome vibes because Jeff Lang chose it to record a live performance in 2005!

The Lewi Blues & Roots is at the heart of what the Lewisham Tavern is about, bringing community together to enjoy music and have a bevvy & some food at the same time. Family friendly, and 8 ball friendly, what’s not to like?

First of all, a big thank you to everyone who came to the first Lewi Blues & Roots last year, it was an absolute blast and you guys are awesome!

Because it was so much fun we’re doing it again! And far out it’s a big line up! Dave Wilson Band, M.T. Blues, Yesterday’s Gentleman, Miss Jones, The Blue Water Bandits. But the icing on the cake are the blues legends coming down from the north coast! Pete Cornelius and the Sheyana Band will be joining us! 7 Acts, 4 Bands! See you there!
