Talking politics in a public bar is frought with danger, especially in the current climate, n with the current players

When one of the Taverns locals quietly told us he was putting his hand up to help shape the future of the West Tamar, we couldn't help thinking he'd be be a damn good option !
Michael has bee a familiar face at the Tavern for the past couple of years, stopping in most afternoons for 2 St George mids ( n only 2 )
We've got to know him pretty well over that time n think that with his approachable nature, being willing to listen, hold intellegent conversation and abiliy to back up his opinions with facts.
As well as his wealth of business knowledge and experience in similar roles in the meander Valley he'd be a great representative of the community.
Definately put him on your short list in the up coming council election n keep upto date on his page, n maybe swing through the Tavern one afternoon for a chat.
He definitely passes the pub test !!
