‘Thank you’ doesn’t quite cover it, but a massive thank you nonetheless to all of you for your immense support on our Grand Reopening weekend. Two weeks of full time prep, gone in two days! A whole night of bread baking flew out the doors in an hour and a half. But more than that, a constant lineup of happy faces that lasted the whole weekend. You are the reason we keep going.
Our first week back was also incredible- basically a continuation of the Grand Reopening! We have tried our absolute best to keep the shop full, but no doubt some of you have visited and found limited options. Trust me that we have been doing everything we can to restock as fast as possible. We’ve been baking away for 16-18 hours every day 😮💨 but whenever we go out to add something to the cabinet, the last thing has already made its escape. It’s honestly impressive how fast you guys can make a full shop disappear! 😂 Several times we have not only run out of food, but run out of ingredients to make the food, and even cleared out our suppliers of the ingredients we need to make said food. But we will get on top of things again eventually, and when we do, we will have full cabinets and tables again.
In the mean time, thank you for being so patient, kind and understanding. The bakery has grown but it’s still the same small close knit team keeping it together, and we all feel so humbled and lucky to be a part of such an amazing community.
