𝗡𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗔𝗴𝗼 𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆…

Anyone who knows Jasmine knows one thing for certain.
Jazz absolutely hates surprises. 😆

So naturally, we had to share this memory!

On this day in 2017, a young front-of-house trainee named Jasmine qualified and completed her traineeship.

Back then, many of us knew her as "Jazz," always smiling, eager to learn and willing to do whatever was needed to help the team. The whole team was incredibly proud of her then, though none of us realised just how far our Jazz would go.

Fast forward nine years and Jasmine is now our 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿, married, a mother of three and a respected (and bossy) leader within our business. Jasmine has grown alongside Cataract on Paterson, shaping our culture, supporting our team and guiding the business through countless challenges and successes.

One of the greatest privileges of running a family business is watching people grow. Seeing young team members begin their careers, build confidence, achieve milestones, raise families and become leaders is what makes it all worthwhile.

Jazz has been part of Team Cataract for almost a decade, celebrating the highs, working through challenges, supporting team members and playing a significant role in creating the workplace and business we are today.

So, while Jasmine may not appreciate being the centre of attention today...

Today we celebrate an incredible milestone … 5 years of Patrick being part of Team Cataract.

Patrick, thank you for everything you bring to our team each day. Your calm nature, loyalty, professionalism, sense of humour and genuine care for both our guests and your teammates never go unnoticed.

Hospitality is not always an easy industry. You continue to show up with kindness, consistency, passion and always embrace a chance to dress up or share a pirate joke!
