Sorry to those who stopped by the Creperie first thing Wednesday morning, we weren’t able to open at 10am as unfortunately we had a break in overnight.
Thieves forced entry and made off with the cash till float, a few boxes of chocolate bars and my fiancés Makita toolset, our smashed cash till was found by another local business owner at the top of the Elizabeth street car park and reported to police.
All in all, very minimal property damage thankfully and caught on CCTV but things like this always hit small businesses hard and unfortunately it doesn’t seem to be that rare in Launceston.
Thankfully no damage to the POS system 💪 so we were able to get back up and running again quickly.
