Happy Good Friday everyone!

we are hoping every is enjoying the start off the long weekend
I just want to remind everyone for today :
We would appreciate if everyone treated our staff respectfully, they are trying their best. They do not deserve to be shouted at or handling complaints.
This is a busy day for all fish and chip shops. We are all working very hard to take out your orders.

As you all know Good Friday is right around the corner - 3rd April 2026. We will be opening at 11am and our last orders will be at 1:15pm and then closing the shop to prepare for our night shift and to take a little break . We will re-open at 4pm-8:00pm

In order to reduce the preparation and waiting time, our menu will be limited to certain selections. This means :

* No burgers
* No feta bites
* No deep fried Mars bars
* No fisherman basket
* No crumbed items
* No potato scallops
* No mussels
*No chicken nuggets
*No onion rings
*No Hash browns
*no fish cakes
* No sea scallops
* No upgrades to local fish for the meal for two or family pack
*NO chip orders only
* No gluten free options- As it is a busy night for us, we can not do GLUTEN FREE Chips and we cannot guarantee the grills to be gluten free also.

If you would like salads, please pre order as there will be a very small amount of salads in the fridge.

With the situation of the local fish, we may have a limited amount. We can not guarantee how much we will have for Good Friday.

******PLEASE ALSO NOTE THAT THERE WILL BE A 10% SURCHARGE ON ALL ORDERS ***

As for the orders, we would highly recommend to order before Good Friday so we can make sure you get your order on time or as soon as we can for that day. *****This year we will not be taking orders via messages through Facebook . please contact the shop between working hours 4-8pm daily or 11am -1pm Friday to place your order*****

As it is a busy day for us, we would like to let all our customers know that Long waits are unavoidable, please be kind and patient, as we aim to get your orders out ASAP.

As of Tuesday 24th February 2026, our fish prices will be increasing, and we will be removing our Tuesday special from the menu.
Due to the current fish ban in Western Australia, the cost of fish has risen significantly. Unfortunately, this is on top of the already challenging cost of living and the increasing expenses involved in keeping our shop running. Our suppliers have had to raise their prices, and despite our best efforts, we are no longer able to absorb these increases.
This situation is beyond our control.
We truly appreciate your understanding and continued support.

We are looking for an experienced person that has WORKED BEFORE in a restaurant or would be EVEN BETTER if you have worked in a fish and chip shop. They will need to know how to answer phones, cook (IS A MUST OR WILLING TO LEARN) ,clean, and most of all have experience with customer service. (You will also need to pick up heavy items)
As it is a busy shop we need a reliable ,quick Learner , fast paced worker and be very flexible to work any day of the week, especially Fridays and weekends (4pm-8/8:30pm) . Christmas period and public holidays. Please also note that GOOD FRIDAY IS ONE OF THE DAYS YOU DEFINITELY NEED TO WORK.

We do not want someone that will be temporary. We need someone that will be with us long term. You may start of with casual and then go to part time or full time

Huge achievement for some of our Run for Fun Club superstars this morning! They were awarded with certificates for attending 10 sessions this year! 🤩

Thank you so much to Landsdale Fish & Chips for providing vouchers for our runners 🥰 We are so appreciative of your support!

Don't forget - our Run for Fun Club is held every Wednesday morning from 8.10am and all Carnaby students are welcome to join us! Please make sure you sign in with our volunteers as this is how we keep track of your sessions 🏃🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏽‍♂️
