After 8 years at Source Dining on Piper Street in Kyneton, and there is a lot of emotion tied up with this decision, we feel the time is right for us to close and move on. We have achieved so much in this time - a chef’s hat for 8 consecutive years and now a 3 glass rating in the Gourmet Traveller Wine List of the Year Awards, but with the constant exhausting search for experienced staff to maintain this quality dining and another business that is rapidly growing and taking more and more of our time - now feels like the right time to make a change.
A huge thank you to our guests who have allowed us to do what we love doing over the past 8 years and have continued to support us. We have so many memories that we take with us.
To staff, both past and present, thank you for always making sure our guests leave feeling well fed & well loved. Your commitment to the business and, in many cases, your friendship has been so very much appreciated.
Where will you find us? Well Steve will be providing that calm, professional and knowledgeable service which has been his trademark at Source Dining in a new and exciting venture at the Gold Mines Hotel, Bendigo. On weekends, our dining rooms will soon be transformed to offer you a similar style of food and service to what we have offered you at Source Dining…come and visit us!
Me, you will find at the stoves cooking the food I love to cook, created from the beautiful produce that is grown around us. You will also find me spending more time with my partner, family & friends, in the kitchen garden & orchard at our farm & with my dogs! As I know only too well, life can be far shorter than expected…it is time for a change.
We are hoping that someone would like to write the next chapter in the Source Dining journey and the business is currently listed for sale.
