Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents.
Attention to detail and a positive attitude are essential.
🍽️ Casual Food Services Assistants

Assist with food preparation, plating, cleaning, and maintaining a high standard of food safety.
Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential.
What we're looking for:

A positive, team-focused attitude
Reliability and flexibility to work a variety of shifts
A genuine commitment to providing quality service to our residents
Experience in aged care is an advantage but not essential

There's something special about sharing a coffee, a conversation and precious time with the people who matter most. ❤️

This week, our Switch Café was the perfect place for Nancy Elborough to catch up with her son John and daughter-in-law Lorraine, who travelled from Clifton Springs on the Bellarine Peninsula to spend time together.

Across the Village, more beautiful family moments unfolded. Phyllis Ireland welcomed four generations together as she cuddled four-month-old Vincent, her 19th great-grandchild. Joined by Vincent's mum Tahlia and Phyllis's daughter Deb, it was a visit filled with love and laughter.

When asked what keeps her going, Phyllis didn't hesitate:
"It's my family that keeps me going." 💙

Ken Douglas also enjoyed a wonderful reunion with his family, welcoming sister Carol from Melbourne, sister Lorraine from Hobart and nephew Daryl for a day of catching up and making more treasured memories.

Whether it's over a coffee at Switch Café or a visit around the Village, these moments remind us that family connections are at the heart of life at Warramunda. Thank you to everyone who takes the time to visit their loved ones and create memories that will be cherished for years to come. 💕

I think this version has a lovely flow. It starts at Switch Café, then broadens into the wider story of family life at Warramunda, making the café feel like a warm gathering place rather than an advertisement. It feels very "Warramunda". 😊

🎉🌟 APRIL “THE LINDY” WINNER ANNOUNCED! 🌟🎉
Warramunda Village, it’s time to give a HUGE round of applause to our April winner of ✨ The Lindy ✨… the one and only CASSIE O’DWYER! 👏💛👩‍🍳
If you know Cass, you already know why she was one of 15 incredible nominees this month (she was nominated last month as well) - and why she absolutely SHINES in everything she does. From the kitchen to The Switch Café to whipping up residents’ favourite treats (or at least most of them 😄), Cassie brings heart, humour, and pure excellence to every shift.
And yes… she was very surprised, and humble (as always)!
Cassie has a beautiful connection to the award’s namesake, Lindy Sheers, who worked alongside her years ago. Lindy, usually based in the laundry (now named in her honour 💛), picked up extra kitchen shifts from 3–6 pm, and Cass remembers her as someone who never forgot a birthday and always brought TattsLotto tickets - even if Cass never won! 🎟️😂 Those memories make this award extra special for her.
