Macho Nacho

Hola familia.. We have tried opening evenings, movie nights, inviting clubs and social groups, all kinds of social media etc etc and yet it's still not enough to save this chapter of Macho Nacho... The first couple of months were really promising and we had lots of fun but as cost of living increased we noticed things were getting harder for us all and it showed in our foot traffic. The council loved our premises, the food was excellent, the best vibe around were all things in our favour but something just didn't work at Cafe Frida.. it is bloody heartbreaking for us but it is DEFINITELY NOT the end of Macho Nacho!! We are going to sit down, regroup and work out our next step in this crazy journey called life.. Thank you VERY much to all of you who came and visited our little 'taco truck without wheels' and enjoyed our food and cool scene. We will miss you so very much but stay tuned for the next chapter coming soon...Peace out✌️❤️💪🌮

-10.8 🥶💎 FREEZE near Glen Innes Nth Tablelands NSW this morning along the famous Beardy Waters at Sunrise!

Leaving Warwick in Qld at 4 am, I had scouted for hours before sunrise looking for the fog and potential hoar frost.... There wasn't much fog around Glen Innes, it was mostly below Bolivia Hill and further North. Despite that I worked out that a sly ESE may push the steam from the Beardy Waters Weir down into this gully and create a hoar frost! I was not disappointed as I rounded the corner and found this gully frozen solid! Behind me was also magnificent and I will share those images as well.
