Hey guys, With Kirrily about to pass through, in the best interests of our staff and delivery partners we have decided to close all 3 stores for today the 25th and tomorrow the 26th, all going well we will be back serving the best burgers on Saturday once Kirrily sorts her self out… stay safe…

I wanted to let you know that Townsville is still going strong and we’ve got no plans to change that. We will keep the brisket melts and filthy fries going for you all.

I wanted to thank our Townsville community for their support of Getta Burger. Like many family businesses, it’s been a tough time for us and we’ve closed our Brisbane stores.

We had to make the tough decision to close those stores because the cost to run them was prohibitive, we simply couldn’t succeed with increasing costs.

In Townsville though, it’s a bit different for us. Don’t let anyone tell you that regional cities are not great business hubs! For us, it’s easier to do business here than in the big capital cities.

In Townsville we will continue to source the best meat, support great local producers, and know what goes in to each of our burgers. Many other small businesses are doing it tough, it’s hard to compete with the big chains and cheap product. So in the lead up to Christmas - when you can - try to support small. It is what keeps our community going.
