We’re fun, we’re energetic, and we genuinely love what we do — good food, good coffee, good vibes. Champi is family-owned, and when we say join the family, we mean it.

Before Champi was a restaurant, it was a village.

A small one on the Xadone river in Champasak, Laos 🇱🇦 reachable only by boat, only in the rainy season. That was home for Aiden’s grandmother, Thongxoun. He grew up picking herbs from the garden and watching dinner grill over charcoal.

Years later, Aiden missed his grandma’s cooking. Bianca missed the hospitality of hosting, after the quiet of 2019’s lockdowns. So in 2022, they built a home for both, named after the village that raised him. 🇱🇦

Authentic South East Asian methods. Bold, herb- and chilli-packed flavours, cooked the way Thongxoun cooked them.
