It’s strange.

You spend years building something, never really thinking about the day it ends.

Yesterday, we gathered for a photo we’ll keep forever-a simple moment that somehow captured so much of what this place has meant to us. Looking at it, we were reminded that the most important part of this journey was never the building itself.

It was the people. The staff who became family.
The customers who became friends. The community that made every day worth showing up for.

As our last day approaches (tomorrow Sunday till 12pm), we’re not feeling proud of what we built. We’re feeling grateful for who we built it with.

Behind every pizza that came out of Al Chiosco was heart, hard work, pride, and two people who gave this little pizza bar its soul…Samir and Vincenzo. ❤️

The late nights, the prep, the flour-covered benches, the heat of the oven, the pressure of busy services, the consistency, the care… these two showed up for it all.

What people saw was beautiful pizza.
What we saw behind the scenes was dedication, loyalty, passion, and craftsmanship.

They helped turn Al Chiosco into more than just a pizza bar. They helped create memories for families, date nights, celebrations, long lunches, holiday dinners, and quiet little moments people will remember for years.

To Samir and Vincenzo, thank you for every dough stretched, every pizza served, every stressful night pushed through, every laugh shared, and every customer you made happy.

You’ve both left your mark on this place in a way that can’t be replaced.

Al Chiosco wouldn’t have been what it was without you both. 🍕❤️

We’ve got some hard news to share.

This Sunday night will be the final pizza service at al Chiosco. 🍕

From the very beginning, this little pizza bar was built around handmade dough, long lunches, good wine, slow evenings, and our local community.

Watching families, friends, locals, and holidaymakers gather around our tables has meant more to us than you probably realise.

To everyone who supported us…thank you. Truly.

If you’ve been meaning to come in for one more pizza, this is the weekend to do it.

We’ll be serving our final pizzas Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night.

While the pizzeria is closing, the café will remain open and continue trading as usual.

Come have a drink, order your favourite pizza, sit a little longer, and help us give al Chiosco the send-off it deserves ❤️

Our caffè remains open 7 days a week from 7am for coffee, breakfast & all day menu favourites.
