The two-day residency with sold out in under an hour, so we’re giving you another chance to spend a day at the easel with her.

On Saturday 7 November, Lauren leads a one-day painting workshop here at The Kin Kin Hotel. Expect expressive alla prima oil painting: working quickly and intuitively, finding colour and learning to trust the brush rather than overwork the canvas. There’s a morning of demonstrations and studies, a long seasonal lunch in the courtyard, then an afternoon painting your own finished piece to take home. No experience needed.

Saturday 7 November, 9.30am to 4pm. $450pp, all materials included.
