🎄🎄Christmas post! 🎄🎄

This year we’ll be heading to 35 Wentworth Street, Wallsend, Saturday 21st December 2024 8-9pm.

Below is his story.

I started with one tree display for my grandchildren, which upset my own children a little because I didn't do anything when they were younger.

When I received an anonymous card from a young girl thanking me for the lights, that motivated my to build on the display. It grows a little each year. The excitement and smiles on the faces of children and comments from their parents are all that it takes to motivate me each year.

My son's father-in-law and best friend both passed away from MND. His best friend leaving a wife and two young boys. It is because of this that I would support the research into this insidious disease.

You can find Kieran’s house on the corner of Wentworth and Hannah Street Wallsend. It is truly magical.

I would like to invite all of the local community to come and see Kieran’s wonderful Christmas Light display and see how magical it is.

Saturday I will have our Gelato Kombi set up outside his house between 8-9pm and 50% of our takings will be donated to a MND charity. Motor Neurone Disease NSW

And just like that the 2024 season of Lulu’s Gelato is coming to an end as we are closing our doors at 4pm on Sunday for good at our Toronto shop.

But don’t worry, you can still get your Lulu’s fix as we will be returning to our roots as a gelato van and hitting the road in the Kombi from Monday 16 December - so keep an eye on our socials for where you can find us each week.

We’ve had an incredible few years as part of this community and have loved scooping our delicious gelato for you and your families and friends.

But we realised that our children are growing up so quickly and we want to be around a bit more to spend time with them while they still want to!

Come and join us one last time this weekend and we hope to see as many of you as possible at the van as we take our famous gelato to events and pitches from now on.

Happy holidays from the Knights family and we hope to see you at the kombi in 2025.

Our shop will be open today 12-8pm, Saturday 14th 10-5pm and Sunday 15th 10-4pm, please come in store and use any gift cards you have before we close, but if you can’t make it, I can accept them at our Kombi too, so don’t worry.

A local family are swinging open the doors next week and they will be trading as so show them as much love as you have shown us.
