15 Years in Kiama — A Journey We’ll Always Be Grateful For ❤️

We’re incredibly proud and grateful to share a special story about the journey behind JJ’s Indian Restaurant Kiama.

In a recent interview with The Bugle, our owner Jasbir Jasrotia "JJ's" reflected on a journey that began with a dream — arriving in Australia in 2005 to study commercial cookery and hospitality, meeting his friend and business partner Pritpal Singh Sani, opening their first restaurant in Wollongong in 2009, and eventually bringing JJ’s to Kiama in 2011.

What began with a dream, hard work and a little uncertainty has grown into 15 incredible years in the Kiama community.

Over the years, JJ’s has become more than just a restaurant. Our staff have grown with us, our customers have become familiar faces, and countless families, friends and local businesses have shared special moments around our tables.

This milestone belongs to everyone who has been part of our journey — our parents, family, business partner, team members, and every customer who has supported us throughout the years.

We will always be thankful and proud of this journey, and incredibly grateful for your love, support and trust. ❤️

Your support has helped turn a dream into a reality and allowed us to become a part of the Kiama community. As we look ahead, our passion remains the same — to bring more authentic Indian food, create memorable experiences and continue serving our wonderful community for many more years to come.
