Miss Nellie's Cafe We are now onto Stage 5 of 6 in our repair/restoration journey. Welcome!

Following the 2021 flood devastation, we moved back into our partially restored 100 year old building in May 2023 after 2 years in “Travelling Millie” coffee van. Located in the township of Kendall, where the beaches of the Camden Haven meet the lush scenic valleys of the hinterland, MISS NELLIE'S CAFE is a modern-yet-classic haven for locals and visitors alike. The delightful country-style cafe celebrates the best of the Hastings local produce and offers something for everyone. Enjoy a relaxing morning coffee with a book on the verandah, treat yourself to a homemade cake or Devonshire Tea with homemade jam, or bring family and friends to enjoy a light meal,

So many delectable flavours, ready in a couple of minutes and also available in Gluten Free and Vegan options! The ultimate solution when you crave a quick and uncompromisingly decadent dessert experience (when Miss Nellie’s is closed of course! 😂)

💐CHRISTMAS IN BLOOM💐 HIGH TEA

Gather your favourite people and enjoy a beautifully presented selection of sweet and savoury high tea delicacies, delicious Christmas treats and a touch of festive sparkle ✨

Based on the success of 2025, we have mixed up the session days/times offering 11 options, including afternoon sessions - see list below.

💐Bookings essential
💐Limited numbers per session
💐Minimum 2 guests per booking

💐PRICE
The good news is we have maintained our price at $49 per guest!! Price includes:
• a non-alcoholic refreshment on arrival (BYO welcome)
• unlimited tea/coffee for 1.5 hour service
• 3 tiered high tea stands with a selection of sweet and savoury treats

💐BOOKINGS
To streamline the booking process this year, we request you visit our new website and book online wherever possible - see link below. This reduces our admin and allows us to maintain last year’s price. However if you are unable to book online, you are welcome to call the cafe on 6559 0085.

Payment can be made online at time of booking, or via direct deposit or in person no less than two weeks prior to your event date.

Many have asked if we will still be holding our High Teas as well as our newly launched CAKE ‘N SIP and the answer is yes! Our 2026 Christmas High Tea dates will be announced soon, with bookings opening shortly!

Repurposing materials again - this time reworking old cedar windows (courtesy of our bower bird builder, Col) and leftover cedar framework (courtesy of our bower bird, Ray)!

The windows are up high and above flood risk level so we stayed with timber rather than alloy.

Such a beautiful rich colour and they will let in plenty of daylight above our kitchen 🌝
