This week has been a big week for us. We have officially closed the peads arcade location. Very sad times indeed. We also had our last catering order before the arrival of Bub number 3 in 4 weeks. Thanks to everyone for the lovely well wishes this week. Hopefully COVID disappears before we know it and you’ll find us in another location 😊 watch this space for updates 💓

It’s that time of the week again and also your last chance to order a delivered to us in Kempsey. From next week you will still be able to order and have it delivered to in Gladstone. is another family owned business that appreciates your support in this unprecedented climate. They provide a huge range of organic and spray free products that would otherwise be unavailable to us in Kempsey. Orders need to be in by 3pm tomorrow for deliver to us at the cafe on Wednesday. Some of you have probably already heard Ronan and I will be expecting our 3rd baby in around 6 weeks. We have had a few hurdles financially with COVID and I have struggled personally with my back and pelvis this pregnancy. I have not been able to be within the business 100%. This has lead us to make the really hard decision to close our Peads Arcade location for the birth of our baby. We will officially close the shop on the 10th of July and will be looking for another location once we get back into a new normal. Some of you may already know that we like to support other local businesses that are family run. This week we have on the menu a range of food that is created with this in mind. This post is just to highlight those businesses and the products we have used. is our go to for their amazing spinach we use in our quiches. They also have at the moment the most beautiful pumpkins that we use for our quiches and pumpkin soup. We have always gotten our bread from hotntasty bakery in Kempsey they have the freshest bread and our sandwiches and hamburgers would not taste the same without them. provide us weekly with a range of veggies that we use in lots of our cooking. Organic potatoes grown in Guyra for our pumpkin soup. We also use there onions/cucumbers and carrots in everything that you eat. Us2u also provide once a fortnight. The bananas we use in our banana bread and cakes. Tomato’s from fresh local lettuce/spinach and locally grown herbs. Message me if you have any questions about any of these amazing businesses
