With Australian owned and made Bundaberg ginger beer, sarsaparilla and traditional creaming soda ... spiders and floats have never looked so good .... especially served in jam jar glasses with stripey straws! Our cola is Karma cola, organic and made with Fair trade cola beans from Sierra Leone, and we have organic lemonade and Gingeralla soft drinks .... which are about as healthy as fizzy drinks can be!! An ice-cream counter serves up waffle cones with extraordinary Serendipity all natural ice-cream ... another Australian family owned company which is the most awarded premium ice-cream in Australia. Flavours include salted caramel swirl, peanut butter disaster and death by chocolate! Big communal recycled elm tables will easily fit large groups, and parties are welcomed. A beautiful, landscaped outdoor area will is the place to soak up the sun in Katoomba, and includes a gingerbread cubbyhouse and slippery dip for the kids! We housebake cookies, brownies, blondies, gingerbread, red velvet cake, and we also stock the delightful local company 'Gingerbread Folk' gingerbread housemaking kits, and gift boxes and tins of gingerbread, and you're welcome anytime to construct one of the gingerbread houses with us, we'll mix up your icing, and the hardest thing will be choosing which lollies to decorate with! To really satisfy the sweet urge, a range of lollies runs the whole rainbow of colours (Australian made wherever possible), and we have the most beautiful hand pulled Australian lollipops. We use local coffee roaster The Little Coffee Company coffee, loose leaf teas and serve hearty house made soups and sandwiches using local Hominy sourdough bread.
