It is extremely sad that this will be our last week at our current address, 73 Clive Street Katanning.

Please keep your eyes open for where we will appear.

Until we have our new cafe you well be able to still see us and get great food and the best coffee but only on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at the Katanning Sale Yards.

Yes that's right, it'll be me and my team out there cooking and 'Barista-ing' for your Tuesday lunches, Tuesday dinners and Wednesday breakfasts and Wednesday lunches.
First sale 8th January 2020.

I will be creating a new page because we won't be called The Cafe on Clive Street any more even if our new venue is in Clive Street but I will keep you up-to-date.

Thank you to each and every one of you who stepped through the door and became a friend.
Your kind words and threats (if I left) have filled my heart.

Fingers crossed I can relocate to the venue I really want and we will be open early in 2020.

Please come in and grab your favourite coffee, sausage roll,
quiche or melting moment while you can this week.

Christmas Day - closed but if my car is there you can come in for a coffee (I will be packing )
Boxing Day - closed but if my car is there you can come in for coffee AND we will be OPEN for Pizza 5pm - 9pm
Friday 5am - 2pm then open for Pizza 5pm - 9pm
Saturday 5am - 2pm
Sunday closed

Hi everyone,
You may have heard rumors about The Cafe on Clive Street.

I took over my sister's 5 year lease just over 3 years ago.
The lease is up 31st December 2019.

My sister, in her crazy head signed a lease which had flaws and I was committed to abiding by this lease.
The two issues in the lease I disagreed with were:
- landlord not required to fix anything (including a leaking roof) and:
- I had to pay the building insurance!
This is not normal and I'm even unsure if legal.

Due to the landlord not wanting to change his lease agreement and I not agreeing with it I am moving out.

I have been looking at alternative sites but each one has been snaffled up (car yard, artisan gallery, coming Thai Restaurant).
I do have others in mind but . . .

I have tendered an application to the Katanning Saleyards for their Tuesdays and Wednesdays but I have also tendered for 7 days and nights. Basically I hope to do exactly what we do at the Clive Street Cafe but at the Saleyards plus several nights.
Still the BEST COFFEE IN TOWN plus a whole range of FRESHLY made meals and snacks. Dine in or takeaway.
We will be offering a delivery service throughout the day.
I am drafting a note to the businesses and services in town arranging preferred 'Coffee Delivery Times'.

Fingers crossed I get the tender otherwise it may be early retirement 😀😁😉

Meanwhile almost everything in the cafe is For Sale.
Most not available for pick up until after Christmas.

The very last day you can get the BEST COFFEE in TOWN from THE CAFE on CLIVE STREET will be New Year's Eve.

Thank you to everyone for your continued support over the 3 years. Thank you for not being brainwashed into thinking that franchises are better. Thank you for your sense of humour. Thank you for caring when I couldn't walk or had a migraine. Thank you for the friendly banter. Thank you for the hugs. Thank you for the presents. Thank you for your need for coffee ☕☕☕☕ and bacon 🥓🥓
