Just letting everyone know Ash's Cafe will be closed all day - this Wednesday only - 5th August - for essential maintenance works. The hours for the cafe this week are:
Monday 3/8- Tuesday 4/8- 7am to 7pm

Wednesday 5/8 - closed all day

Thursday 6/8 - Friday 7/8 - Saturday 8/8 - 7am to 7pm

Sunday 9/8 - 7am to 2pm

Great to see so many travelers, visitors and locals and the pace has certainly picked up with some fantastically busy days - we just wanted to let you know during the busier periods in the Cafe we simply are unable to answer the phone - if you are phoning about accommodation please leave a message and we'll get back to you.
We hope everyone has a great time in Karumba and look forward to seeing you while you are here.

Every day we get to enjoy the company of so many different birds in the garden areas around Ash's Holiday Units and the Cafe. The Gulf of Carpentaria has an abundance of bird life and for Karumba - 'Outback by the Sea' really means diversity - there are lots of easy ways to enjoy them - whether a novice or a keen twitcher! Walking the coastline, exploring the mangroves, checking the many waterholes across the marine plains or stopping for a break along the Savannah Way...always something to see - and don't forget the photo ops!

Ash's Cafe will close at 2pm this Saturday - 4th July - to support the Karumba Children's Centre -"Bring in Spring" event being held at the Karumba Recreation Club. Get along and enjoy a fun filled community event.....hope we see you there!
