Dedicated Receptionist + Hospitality All Rounder

Aspen Living Karratha is looking for an experienced couple to join our busy and friendly team in Karratha, Western Australia.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a couple looking to work hard, enjoy a great team environment and save money while living in the Pilbara.

We have two positions available as a couple:

ROLE 1 | DEDICATED RECEPTIONIST

We are seeking a friendly, professional and well-presented Receptionist to be the welcoming face of Aspen Living Karratha.

You will be responsible for:

Being the first point of contact for our guests and visitors
Managing the front desk, phone calls and email enquiries
Guest check-ins and check-outs
Reservations and guest enquiries using the Newbook platform
General administration and reception duties
Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word and Excel
Canva and basic digital content/design tasks
Providing friendly, professional and approachable guest service

What we're looking for
Minimum 6 months' experience in a similar reception role
Newbook experience is essential
Availability to work across weekdays and weekends
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to speak, read and write confidently in English

ROLE 2 | HOSPITALITY ALL ROUNDER

This is a varied role working across multiple areas of our operation, including:

Housekeeping
Food & Beverage Attendant
Kitchen duties
General hospitality and operational support
Working as part of a busy team to ensure our guests receive a great experience

What we're looking for

Proven experience in a similar hospitality role is essential
Experience across multiple hospitality areas is highly regarded
A strong work ethic and positive attitude
Reliable, flexible and willing to help wherever needed
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Someone who enjoys being part of a team and isn't afraid of hard work

This Saturday, Anna Jarvie - Aligned Health & Lifestyle is bringing Beyond “R U OK?” Day: The Human Performance Lab to Karratha Indoor Golf.

The workshop looks at what sits underneath the silence: the psychology of stress, fatigue and why people often keep saying they’re fine, even when they’re not.

It’s about spotting the gap between what people feel and what they say, and understanding why that gap matters in every team and workplace.

We’ll explore why people don’t always speak up:

• They don’t want to be seen as weak
• They don’t want to add pressure to anyone else
• They hope it’ll blow over
• They can’t put it into words
• They’ve gotten used to running on empty

It’s a practical session on human performance, communication and early warning signs, so you can respond better, sooner.
