Originally built with no expense spared by the Swan Brewery in the late 1960s’ and officially opened in early 1970, Kambalda Hotel (previously known as Kambalda Motor Hotel) still stands today the States’ best Brewery Hotels’ and a symbol of wealth in the Goldfields. Located in the heart of Kambalda West town andless than 5 minutes from the Kambalda Airport the Hotel building and its expansive bar and restaurant facilities are generously spaced and built over two levels. With a choice of 26 quiet and tastefully furnished rooms, many of which will accommodate up to 3 guests, and several which are inter-connected to suit family guests. What a night at the KBCCI 2026 Goldfields Business Awards!

We are absolutely stoked to have taken home the Tourism & Hospitality Award for Kambalda Hotel.

To be recognised in a room absolutely packed with incredible Goldfields businesses was pretty bloody special.

We are also ridiculously proud to have three of our own, Liam, Kimmy and Sarah, nominated for individual awards. They might not have taken home the trophy this time but having three members of our team recognised amongst some of the best in the Goldfields is a win in itself.

And because apparently attending the awards wasn’t enough… our team also casually fed 400 people a THREE COURSE MEAL on the night and our crew absolutely smashed it. The planning, prep, cooking, plating, serving, clearing, problem solving and general controlled chaos that goes into feeding 400 people is HUGE and they pulled it off beautifully, AGAIN!

This award belongs to the whole Kambalda Hotel team. The legends in the kitchen, behind the bar, serving your coffee, keeping our building clean and well kept and everyone who keeps this place ticking every single day.

We are so bloody proud of our little pub and the people behind it.
