🌼 Wildflower season in the Goldfields

One of the most beautiful times to explore Kalgoorlie-Boulder is during wildflower season, when the surrounding bushland comes to life with colourful native blooms.

Just a short drive from The View On Hannans, Karlkurla Bushland Park is a great local spot to experience the season. The park features walking trails through more than 200 hectares of natural bushland, giving visitors the chance to slow down, enjoy the fresh air and see some of the unique flora found throughout the Goldfields.

Depending on the season and rainfall, you may spot colourful eremophilas, wattles, Goldfields daisies, cassia and a variety of other native wildflowers along the way. 🌸🌿

It’s an easy addition to a Kalgoorlie-Boulder stay, whether you’re planning a morning walk, looking for somewhere peaceful to explore or simply want to see another side of the Goldfields beyond its famous mining history. Keep an eye out for beautiful native wildflowers such as Hairy Angianthus as you explore the Goldfields this wildflower season.

The Coolgardie Outback Festival is gearing up for its biggest-ever weekend of rodeo action, with more than 7,500 people expected to make their way to Coolgardie.

With riders competing from Friday and visitors travelling from across Australia, it’s shaping up to be an incredible weekend for the region.
