💔🍕 TODAY… WE SAY GOODBYE TO JIMMY’S ROCKIN DINER. 🍕💔

I’ve been staring at this screen for ages, not really knowing how to write this… because honestly, I don’t think there are words big enough to explain what today means to me. 😭

Today is our final day.

The last time I’ll unlock those doors.
The last time I’ll turn the lights on.
The last time I’ll hear the buzz of the kitchen.
The last time I’ll see our beautiful customers walk through those doors.
The last time I’ll get to say, “Welcome to Jimmy’s.”

And I don’t think I’m ready. 💔

On 19th June 2020, we opened our doors for the very first time.

I had absolutely no idea that day just how much this little diner would change my life.

What started as a business became so much more.

It became our little place.

Over the past 6 years, we have shared birthdays, anniversaries, first dates, family dinners, weekly catch-ups, celebrations, tears, laughter and countless memories.

And somewhere along the way, our customers stopped feeling like customers.

You became family. ❤️

I’ve watched kids grow up through these doors. I’ve watched our beautiful staff grow from teenagers into young adults. We’ve celebrated birthdays, milestones, achievements, 18ths and so many special moments together.

There have been incredibly hard days. Exhausting days. Days where I wondered how I would keep going.

But there have been SO many more beautiful days.

The laughs.
The silly conversations.
The hugs.
The friendships.
The familiar faces.
The regulars who didn’t even need to tell us their order because we already knew it. 🥹

Those are the things I will miss the most.

I will miss you.

More than I could ever put into words.

Today, I’m going to try my hardest to take it all in. To look around and appreciate every little thing. To remember the noise, the laughter, the chaos and, most importantly, the people who made this place what it was.

And when those doors close tonight, I know there will be tears.

Probably a LOT of them. 😭

But amongst those tears will be an enormous amount of gratitude.

Because I got to build something that meant something.

And I got to share it with some truly incredible people.

So, if you’ve ever eaten here, worked here, celebrated here, laughed here, had a coffee here, grabbed a takeaway, brought your kids here, or simply stopped by to say hello…

Thank you. From the absolute bottom of my heart, thank you. ❤️

Thank you for supporting my little dream.

Thank you for allowing Jimmy’s to become part of your lives.

Thank you for every order, every review, every recommendation, every message, every hug and every “we’ll miss you.”

And most importantly…

thank you for the memories.

Tonight we will close these doors for the final time, but I hope when you think of Jimmy’s Rockin Diner, you don’t remember that it closed.

I hope you remember the good times.

The people.

The laughter.

The food.

The music.

The crazy moments.

And the feeling of being part of something special. ❤️

🎶 Jessica Holbrok will be joining us tonight from 5pm–9pm to help us celebrate our final night, and there really couldn’t be a better way to finish this chapter. 🎤❤️

So please… come and see us one last time today.

Have one more meal.
Have one more laugh.
Give us one more hug.
Make one more memory.

Six years. Thousands of meals. Countless laughs. So many friendships. More memories than I could ever count.

And while my heart is absolutely breaking…

I will forever be grateful that I got to live it. ❤️

💔🍕 OUR SECOND LAST DAY AT JIMMY’S ROCKIN DINER 🍕💔

How is it already our second last day?! 😭

Tomorrow we close the doors to Jimmy’s Rockin Diner for the final time, and I’m still not sure I’m ready for it.

Today is one of your last chances to come in, grab your Jimmy’s favourites, have a laugh with us and make a few more memories before this chapter comes to an end. ❤️

The support, messages, hugs and kind words we’ve received have meant more to me and the girls than you’ll ever know.

So come down and see us today — whether it’s for one last pizza 🍕, a feed, a chat, or just to say hello before the craziness of our final day tomorrow!

And don’t forget… tomorrow we’re going out with a bang! 🎉🎶

💔 OUR FINAL WEEK — AND A LITTLE LOOK BACK AT WHERE IT ALL BEGAN 💔

Well… here we are. The week I’ve been dreading has finally arrived. 😭

This is officially our last week of trading, with our final day this Saturday, 29th August.

Looking through these photos has brought back so many memories. ❤️

It all started back in June 2020, when we first opened the doors as My Pizza Pizza.

We had absolutely no idea back then what the next six years would bring, how much things would change, or just how many incredible people would become part of our lives along the way.

Eventually, My Pizza Pizza became Jimmy’s Rockin Diner, but one thing never changed — the amazing people who supported us.

Some of you have been with us right from those very early days. You watched us grow, change, make mistakes, try new things and somehow keep turning up for another day. 😂❤️

Our customers became friends. Our staff became family. Kids grew up in front of us, staff who started with us so young became adults, and our little shop became the place for countless catch-ups, birthdays, celebrations, laughs and probably a few stories that are better left untold. 😂

Looking back at these old photos, I don't just see a business.

I see six years of our lives.

And now somehow we're down to the final few days. 🥹

So if you've ever eaten at My Pizza Pizza or Jimmy's Rockin Diner, we'd absolutely love to see you one last time this week.

Come grab your favourite meal, have one last catch-up and help us finish this crazy chapter surrounded by the people who made it all worthwhile.

Sorry guys this is a long one.

💔 I honestly don’t know how to write this post… 💔

I’ve started writing this a few times and deleted it because I really don’t know how to put into words how I’m feeling.

But after a lot of thought, I’ve made the incredibly hard decision to close Jimmy’s Rockin Diner, with our final day being Saturday, 29th August 2026.

And even writing that doesn’t feel real.

Jimmy’s has never just been a business to me. Somewhere along the way, it became a huge part of my life, and the people who walked through our doors became part of my family.

So many of our customers stopped being just “customers” a long time ago. You became friends. You became the people we looked forward to seeing every week.

I’m going to miss those weekly catch-ups more than I can explain. The quick hello that somehow turns into a half-hour conversation… or more. Hearing what’s happening with your kids, your work, your families and your lives. The laughs, the jokes, the stories and the familiar faces coming through the door.

And then there’s our staff… ❤️

This is probably the part that gets me the most.

I’ve watched them walk through the doors as shy little teenagers starting their first job, and somehow, before we knew it, we were watching them grow into these amazing young adults.

I’ve watched them learn and grow. I’ve watched them make mistakes, gain confidence, finish school, get their licences and figure out who they are.

I’ve laughed with them, yelled at them 😂, worried about them, been ridiculously proud of them and celebrated some pretty special milestones along the way.

Some of them started here at 13, and then suddenly we were celebrating their 18th birthdays with them.

Where the hell did those years go?

They might have started as employees, but they became my kids, my friends and my family. And I don’t think they will ever truly understand how much they have meant to me.

That’s the hardest thing about closing Jimmy’s.

I’m not going to miss the bills, the stress, the late nights or those nights where everything that could possibly go wrong somehow does. 😂

But I am going to miss the people.

I’ll miss my staff annoying the absolute crap out of me.

I’ll miss the customers who walk in and we already know what they’re going to order.

I’ll miss the laughs from the kitchen, the stupid conversations, the chaos, the regulars, the kids we’ve watched grow up, and all those little moments that probably didn’t seem important at the time but now mean everything.

To everyone who has supported us over the years as Jimmys or Pizza Pizza— thank you.

Whether you came in every week, ordered the occasional pizza, shared our posts, told your friends about us, celebrated something special with us or just popped in for a chat, you helped make Jimmy’s what it was.

And to every staff member who has been part of Jimmy’s, past and present — thank you for letting me be part of your lives and for becoming such a big part of mine.

But I’m not saying goodbye just yet.

We still have a few weeks left before we close those doors for the final time on Saturday, 29th August — and I want to make the most of every one of them.

So come in.

Have one more pizza. 🍕
Have one more parmy.
Come in for your usual order.

But more importantly, come in and have one more chat, one more laugh and one more catch-up with us.

And when Saturday, 29th August comes around, I hope we can finish this chapter surrounded by the people who helped make Jimmy’s what it is.

I knew this day would eventually come.

I just didn’t realise how bloody hard it would be to say goodbye. 💔

🎉We're Closed Today – Saturday 18th July!🎉

Jimmy's Rockin' Diner will be closed today (Saturday 18th July) while we celebrate a very special milestone... 🥳

Our beautiful staff member Summer has turned 18, so we're taking the night off to celebrate and introduce her to her very first night on the town! 🍹🎂🎈
(Don't worry... we'll try not to corrupt her too much! 😉😂)
