The duality of Google reviews 😅

The funny thing about Google reviews.. two people can visit the same business and walk away with completely different experiences!

One customer left us 5 stars after enjoying what they called the best cafe breakfast, saying their order changes were no hassle, everything was delicious, and they'd be leaving in a food coma 😊

Another left 3 stars because they felt they waited 30 minutes for a sausage roll and pie.

The reality? It was around 10 minutes.
We know that when you're hungry, 10 minutes can feel like 30. Unlike cafes that keep pies and sausage rolls sitting in a bain-marie, we heat ours fresh to order so they're served hot and tasting their best.

Running a small business means every customer has a different experience, and every review tells a different story. We appreciate all feedback, but we'll always choose serving fresh, hot food over rushing it out.

Now we're curious... what actually motivates you to leave a Google review? Are you more likely to leave one after an amazing experience, or only when something doesn't quite go to plan? 💭
