Jan Juc SLSC Jan Juc SLSC also hosts key summer events including the iconic Danger 1000 Ocean Swim Series. New members are always welcome.

The Jan Juc SLSC has proudly patrolled the Jan Juc beach since 1963 and is a volunteer, family-orientated emergency services club offering Life Saving Services, Nippers Surf Education Program, Junior and Senior Surf Sports Competition and Training. Nestled on the magnificent Victorian Surf Coast, the Jan Juc Surf Life Saving Club has views of the stunning coastline featuring soaring limestone cliffs, golden sands and ocean breaks popular with surfers. The spectacular new club house, offering views from Torquay Point to Bells Beach, is sure to become a favourite for locals and visitors when our Cafe, Kiosk, Bar and Venue Hire Services open soon.

What a fantastic afternoon for Juc’s first big fundraiser of the season! 🏆

With inspiring insights into the life of a dual Winter Olympian from Jakara Anthony, a fascinating look into the world of an Olympic water polo champion from Blake Edwards, and an insightful reflection on the career of Brownlow Medallist Adam Cooney, the afternoon was a huge hit.

Add in the comic relief of Des Dowling, along with heaps of fantastic raffle and auction prizes and professional MCing by the amazing Maddie Brown, and the result was an extremely enjoyable Grand Final Eve Luncheon.

A huge thank you to all our generous prize donors and our major sponsor, Champion Blinds. We also want to acknowledge our wonderful volunteer organisers — Flash Flanders, Brad Papworth and Steve Jewson — as well as our junior club members, who did a fantastic job selling raffle tickets throughout the afternoon.

The event was a huge success, both in entertainment and in funds raised, and we couldn’t have done it without the incredible support of our community.

Thank you to everyone who came along, contributed, volunteered and helped make the afternoon such a memorable one.

We’re sorry to announce that Ocean Views Bar at Jan Juc SLSC will be closed for maintenance this Friday, 25 September.

But don’t worry - we’ll be back on deck next Friday, 2 October, ready for you to enjoy a relaxing end-of-week bevvy while watching the sun set over the ocean.
