Sssooooooo this weekend is mothers day and the van will be out and about spreading good cheer and love to all. Look for me on Saturday at The Handmade Expo in Tulmar Place 9am until 1pm then on to Fassifern Bombers in Harrisville for the Breast cancer fundraiser from around 3pm until late. Back it all up on Sunday at the Bulimba Country to Ciry markets at the Bulimba Community hall. Hope to see you somewhere and happy mothers day to all.

Not many of you amazing followers know this about myself, but a number of years ago, I drove limousines in Brisbane, and during that time, I had the pleasure of meeting a large number of our veterans. This is a post from my personal page from during that time.
It was a privilege back then and still is today to have helped them.

Every week day, I get to spend my day with Vets from all the wars we have been involved in. I hear all sorts of stories about their time. Some talk, some don't, some don't even want to know about today because it brings back way to many mixed feelings. In my time of moving DVA clients around I have had nothing but respect for them and what they gave up for us to live where we do and how we do today.

Well looks like the weather wins this round. Walloon food fest has been cancelled tomorrow night

Well, didn't that happen quickly!!!
Last two events of the year.
This Saturday night is the Walloon Food Fest behind the Walloon Hotel.
New Years Eve the Tivoli Drive in have their amazing end of year event.
Come and get your holiday fill of the most amazing donuts and churros around.

We will be away for January and changes are a foot.

Looking for something to do? From tonight until next Sunday, the Nicholas St precinct will be transformed into Saint Nicholas precinct. We will be there tonight, Sunday and from Wednesday night until Sunday. Find me at the top of the Mall on Brisbane st. Going to be amazing again.
