We’re looking for a highly experienced Barista / Shift Supervisor to join our team at The Riverside Cafe Restaurant Function Centre Inverell

This is not an entry-level role — you must be confident working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and able to lead a team under pressure.

🔥 What we’re looking for:
• Proven experience as a barista in a busy café
• Strong coffee knowledge (grind adjustment, extraction, consistency)
• Ability to handle high-volume service with speed and quality
• Leadership skills or previous supervisor experience
• Reliable, organised, and calm under pressure
• RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) – highly regarded
• Reliable with strong availability (Friday–Tuesday preferred), with flexibility for some nights during busy periods

🛠 Key responsibilities:
• Running shifts smoothly and efficiently
• Leading and supporting the team during busy service
• Maintaining high coffee and customer service standards
• Training junior staff
• Opening and closing duties

💼 What we offer:

📢 Notice to our valued customers- CHANGE OF OPENING HOURS THIS WEEKEND

River Side Cafe • Restaurant • Function Centre will be closed all day and night on Saturday 14th March due to a private function.

We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding while we host this special event.

☕ We will reopen as normal on Sunday from 8:00am and look forward to welcoming you back then!
