Today our Club President Russell judged the Whitsundays Poultry Ag Show. It's wonderful to have made connections with other Poultry Clubs, allowing the Cassowary Coast members to expand their knowledge and showcase their poultry far and wide.

We're still working on finalising the post from our 2026 show - unfortunately a number of the team have come down sick and not feeling up to the paperwork side of these roles at the moment, while others from the team have continued on their show run. Stay tuned!

After the club members put in a massive effort yesterday for our annual club show, many of the members woke early this morning to drive up the hill and exhibit at the Atherton Tablelands Poultry Club's 50th Anniversary Show!

What a successful day for many of our team, but a very special acknowledgement for one of our newest members Marnie. Having just started exhibiting poultry this year, she walked away with a number of prizes, the major of those being:
- Reserve Champion Soft Feather Bantam.
- Champion Soft Feather Bantam.
- Champion Mediterranean Breed.
- Champion Bird for Australorp Feature.
- Most Successful Exhibitor.

A massive congratulations and thank you to all Cassowary Coast Poultry Club members for their efforts yesterday, and then backing up today for another show. Sorry to those who we weren't able to get photos of - they were too quick to sit down! We will be updating the page with results from our club show later this week.

And once again, thanks and congratulations to Atherton Tablelands Poultry Club on their 50th Anniversary Show!

This weekend kicked off the start of the poultry show run for some of our club members.

As you can see, the work doesn't stop for our president Russell and Secretary Tamara, who are efficiently using their time during the judging to iron out pen allocations for our show NEXT WEEKEND! 🐓

Big thank you to the Whitsundays Club Show and NQ Game Fowl Show for a great start to the season.

Here it is!! The much-anticipated 2026 Cassowary Coast Poultry Club Schedule.

A few small changes this year, with the addition of a Modern Game & Leghorn Feature!

For those who are travelling or looking to make a weekend out of chook shows, Atherton Tablelands Poultry club are having their massive 50th Club Show on the Sunday 14th (directly following us). Make sure you get in contact with the team at Atherton Poultry Club for their schedule.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us!

Entries close Saturday the 6th of June or until the shed is full. So, get your entries in quick!
