No matter where people stand on specific agricultural policies, most can agree that farmers are essential to everyday life. Their work often goes unnoticed, yet it affects every household, every community, and every generation. 🤝

Farmers who treat their animals with kindness are our favourite at Farm Direct Food!
It may not mean they get plenty of hugs like this one.

It is instead, down to the choices of food they are given, and their living conditions.

Regenerative farmers in particular, ensure their livestock live in the paddocks and feed upon natural grasses.

No inputs like grains are fed to the animals, but some nutrients missing from the ground may be given to them such as sulphur, magnesium, salt and copper. Some set ups include a buffet that the cattle feed and bath in. Its like a cattle spa!

Sadly, much of the farmland in Australia is nutritionally depleted which is why regenerative farmers are regenerating the land with well thought through land management practices, increasing water, oxygen and nutrients into the land for animals to graze well.

Nutrients in means nutrients out!
