Chill Bar & Café is a fast paced and friendly business in the heart of Hotham Central. A mountain favourite amongst Mount Hotham’s visitors, staff and residents. At Chill our goal is to provide our customers with a warm and welcoming snow experience; serving great coffee, yummy cakes & treats, delicious and affordable breakfast & lunch options and the well-deserved beer, wine or cocktail after a l

ong day on the slopes. You can also come enjoy the live entertainment on weekends and other exciting events throughout the season. The owners Brent and Rebecca Hartnell have been in the hospitality business for nearly 20 years, and after managing the café since 2017, the couple took it on as there own in 2025. They endeavour to continue the high standards that Chill Bar & Café has offered for nearly two decades and are ready and excited to grow the business even more. Open 7 days throughout the entire snow season – June through September. See you in the snow!

If you’re looking for an opportunity to live and work in the snow this winter, then Chill Bar and Café may be the place for you.

We are looking for a few keen people to join our crew in our busy café/bar. Previous hospitality experience is desirable but not essential. If you love the snow or just want to try something new, are friendly, punctual, don’t mind a fast-paced job and love a bit of workplace banter, then we’d love to hear from you.

We are hiring:
- Front of house/Floor staff
- Food hands
- Baristas

Employment starts at the start of June and you need to be available for the entire Snow Season. There’s accommodation available for you and opportunities for plenty of ride time. If this sounds like it could be for you, send us your resume to [email protected]
