Hi everyone especially our former tearoom customers. Thanks to my friend and former Lord Mayor Rob Valentine I took his Facebook advice and am now participating in a Menzies Research Centre heart study - it’s amazing.

Great news is that politicians past and present do have a heart. Ok, some have dodgy ones but most are good. They are looking for another 400 participants 65 years of age or older. Not only will you be helping AI heart health for future generations but you receive a comprehensive assessment of your own heart. They’re a great team - you’re in the best hands. Ferry Subsidy for Tasmanians. After the recent Ferry Fiasco costing Tasmanian tax payers $500M (that’s our money) we deserve a subsidy.

To all our dear Tearooms customers
there’s still a drop of political blood flowing in the hardened veins of Ron. Over the past 7 years in the Tearooms we chatted to many customers about many things. Particularly related to our beautiful historical City and Ron’s former years in Local Govt politics
Carparking, Australia’s least user friendly meters & crooked bike lanes were but a few.

One subject that did crop up regularly was the Great Spirit of Tasmania Ferry Fiasco and the cost of Ferry Fares for Tasmanians.

Take a look at his petition and if you agree let’s get 100,000 sigs in the next couple of years. If your Tasmanian - You deserve it
