Two weeks ago at the Shared Table.

I’m posting this simply because I love the atmosphere captured here. The Shared Table was built around an idea that many people doubted would work: bringing together people who might never otherwise sit side by side and sharing a meal at one long table.

We’ve recently had another push to move back to dining separately in the hall, and perhaps there are practical reasons for that at times. Still, I wanted to share this image as a reminder of what we’ve created together in case the concept is ever lost.

A bunch of rag-tags, from all walks of life, gathered around the same table like family. No hierarchy, no special section, no “us and them”—just people sharing food, conversation, and a little piece of life together.

For me, that’s always been the heart of FNB Hobart
