Home Harvest Vegetarian Home Cooking Home Harvest is a Tasmanian owned and operated family food business. You will receive our menu on Fridays plus the weekly specials.

Our aim is to make healthy, hearty vegetarian and vegan home cooked food for you that is full of flavour and 100% free from anything artificial. We have a passion for cooking with seasonal produce and where possible we use home-grown, locally sourced and organic produce. Every week we freshly prepare a selection of soups, salads and main meals with the highest quality of fresh ingredients to be delivered to your door ready for your fridge or freezer on Thursday afternoons. As our menu is designed around seasonal produce and changes weekly, the best way to stay up to date with what's on is to click the 'sign up' button on our page. Hello Everyone,

We’ve got a bit of an Asian-meets-Italian theme happening this week, with a few new and old favourites all back by request!

Our Gado Gado Salad is back, with a vegan version available too, along with our delicious Mulligatawny Soup and Cauliflower, Potato & Chickpea Curry – gently spiced so it’s one the whole family can enjoy.

On the Italian side, we have Tuscan Bean & Vegetable Soup, Beetroot, Feta & Walnut Risotto and our Pumpkin, Lentil & Spinach Lasagne.

And rounding things out, we have our Greek-style Veggie Balls & Spaghetti – because a little Greek in an Asian and Italian inspired menu seemed perfectly reasonable!

Hello Everyone,

Spring is definitely in the air, but we know Tasmania can still throw a chilly day or two at us and it sure has! So this week’s menu has a bit of everything – some fresh, lighter options alongside a few heartier meals for those cooler days.

Our garden certainly thinks it’s spring and is bursting with beautiful fresh parsley and mint, so we have our delicious Quinoa Tabouleh (Pictured) as a salad option this week. It’s great as a side dish or perfect as a filling for wraps and sandwiches.

Back by popular demand is our Tomato & Spinach Dhal – deliciously versatile and packed with flavour. We love it served with flatbread and hummus, but it’s equally good spooned over rice.

Also back by request is our Hungarian Goulash. We make our own seitan (wheat meat) for this one, making it a particularly protein-rich veggie meal. There are limited numbers available for this dish, so get your order in early!

Our vegan bake this week is Cauliflower, Leek & Potato Bake – creamy and delicious, completely soy-free and made with nuts and our home-grown leeks.

And then there are our Pumpkin, Feta & Walnut Pies (Pictured), with caramelised onion tucked in as well. These really are a taste sensation and make an easy, delicious meal on their own – or pair them with our Quinoa Tabouleh for a fresh and satisfying combination.

Hello Everyone,

We’re always so happy when customers let us know they’ve enjoyed one of our dishes enough to request it again – and this week we have two customer favourites making their way back onto the menu!

Curried Lentil, Pumpkin & Broccoli Soup is back by request. Packed with veggies and flavour, it’s ready to heat up whenever you need a quick, tasty meal.

Veggie Bolognaise is also back by request. It’s ready to go with whatever pasta you fancy and will easily serve two people. It also makes a great base for lasagne or topping for jacket potatoes. We always keep a container in the freezer for those nights when we need something quick, easy and healthy!

Also featuring this week are two delicious bakes to cater for different dietary needs. Rainbow Lasagne is packed with veggies and completely vegan, while our Butter Bean, Corn & Egg Casserole is gluten-free and full of flavour.

Hello Everyone,

One of our favourite salads is back by popular demand this week – so if you haven’t tried it yet, this is your chance! Smoky Pearl Couscous Salad is packed with flavour, with pearl couscous soaking up a delicious dressing of white balsamic vinegar and smoked paprika. It comes with feta, but we’re happy to leave this out for a vegan option.

Also making a return is our Spicy Indonesian Pumpkin & Potato Curry. Topped with crispy fried shallots, it’s a deliciously easy dinner for two – just add rice or naan bread.

Our Macaroni & Cheeze is the perfect dairy-free bake for the whole family. The ‘cheeze’ sauce is made from leeks, pumpkin, carrots and silken tofu, making it a great way to sneak some extra vegetables into dinner – especially for little ones!

Spanakopita Pies are also back by request, and we’ve finally accepted that Bill’s Vegetarian Sausage Rolls are here to stay. Every time we try to take them off the menu, we hear about it! 😊
