To our beautiful community,

We’re devastated to share that Pizzirani’s Cucina will not be part of this year’s Dark M**o Winter Feast.

After losing our beloved Nonna earlier this year, being part of Winter Feast in 2026 meant more to us than words can express. We did everything we could to be there and truly hoped for the opportunity to honour the woman who poured so much of her heart into this festival over the years. Unfortunately, despite our efforts, we were not offered a place this year.

We know many of you were looking forward to seeing us there, and we wanted nothing more than to be part of it. We share in your disappointment.

Nonna’s story is far from over. If we are fortunate enough to be offered a place at Taste of Summer later this year, we’ll be there as a family, celebrating Nonna’s legacy the best way we know how through great food, family, and community. We look forward to seeing you all again and cooking for you.

With just one remaining spot left for the 2026/2027 summer wedding season we thought its time to open up our books for the next season. We’re incredibly grateful for the amazing response and support.

After a huge number of enquiries, we’re excited to officially announce that bookings are now OPEN for our 2028 wedding season (January–April) ✨

Dates for the upcoming season have filled far quicker than we ever expected — and if our inbox is anything to go by, the 2028 season won’t last long either. If you’ve been dreaming of locking in your perfect catering, we strongly encourage you to get in early.

With heavy hearts, we share the sudden passing of our family matriarch and the most cherished person in our world, our beautiful Nonna.
She was the heart of Pizzirani’s — shaping everything we do with her hands, her stories, and her boundless love. We are forever grateful for the time we had, and we will carry her legacy in every dish, every table, and every moment shared.

Thank you to all who were part of Nonna’s extraordinary life. She poured love into everything she touched, and her journey was made richer by the beautiful people who filled her restaurants, shared her food, and became part of her story.
Hold your loved ones close tonight. Cook slowly, gather together, and make an extra-special pot of bolognese in her honour. Through food, family, and love, she will live on with us — always.

Bambino is back from a few weeks cooking up a storm at Taste of Summer in Hobart, and we’re wasting absolutely no time kicking off January with two very fun collabs this weekend.

First stop: Friday night in the vines at Eastford Creek — think live music, bar snacks and wine flowing freely. Then on Sunday, we’re heading to Devonport to team up with the wonderful crew at Marion Storm for a relaxed backyard session by the beach complete with hot and cold drinks (yes, alcoholic and non-alcoholic), ice cream by the scoop and some seriously good tunes.

All the details are in our monthly schedule below, with menus dropping soon. We can’t wait to keep the festive vibes rolling with you in the glorious summer we’re finally getting.

What an incredible few weeks we’ve had, flipping pasta at The Taste of Summer. Being able to do what we love, surrounded by our family and an incredible team who have truly become family, is a dream come true.
Winning People’s Choice back-to-back feels so surreal and is such a privilege. The support we receive time after time is something we never take for granted. None of this would be possible without the amazing people who continue to believe in us, show up for us, and support us in every way. We are beyond grateful.

A Tasmanian family business has claimed back-to-back People’s Choice Awards at the Taste of Summer, with festivalgoers again voting Pizzirani’s Cucina their favourite stall.

The Italian-Australian fusion food business topped the poll at the Hobart waterfront event, which is wrapping up today after drawing more than 88,000 visitors.

Owner Olivia Pizzirani said the win reflected the strength of her team and her family roots, with her 85yo nonna and mother working alongside her.

Pizzirani’s serves homemade pasta, bolognese spring rolls and halloumi fries.

Founded on her grandparents’ legacy, Olivia opened her first venue at 21yo and now caters festivals, weddings and private events statewide.
