UBER STARTING TOMORROW 💃💖🌈 we will be starting back on Uber from Tuesday - Saturday starting tomorrow! As the kitchen we are working with is a quarter of the space we had before, the menu will be limited to mainly burgers and sides. However once we have found our feet again we will be bringing back specials and desserts too! This week we are raising money to support an incredible local not-for-profit, the Rescue Cats Safe Haven.
Unfortunately a donations tub we had on the counter was stolen from us, and although it is infuriating that someone could do such a thing we are using this as an opportunity to spread love and joy and focus on bringing light to such an incredible organisation.
Rescue Cats Safe Haven Inc is a genuine No-Kill, Not for Profit rescue & re-homing service in Tasmania that is entirely run by volunteers. They don’t receive government funding and rely solely on donations from the public. They rescue cats and kittens from all over Tasmania, providing shelter, care and love for trapped, abandoned, surrendered and unwanted cats and kittens, giving them a chance of a new life with a loving family of their own.
If you swing in to visit us for your favourite Veg meal this week, please consider donating with the staff at the counter 💖🐈

After over six extraordinary years serving our community from Elizabeth Street, North Hobart, we have decided it is time to start a new chapter. Veg Bar will no longer be operating at this location, as we feel it is time to change things up and try something different.

Looking back, it is mind blowing how we have evolved and grown since we first opened and how many incredible people have been a part of our journey. We would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you who have supported our business, brightened our days and enjoyed all that Veg Bar has to offer. From our staff, suppliers and of course our loyal customers, you have all made our hearts so full.

Our last trading day at the Elizabeth Street store will be Sunday 23rd April 2023, we hope that up until that date you can all come in and enjoy a last dine-in meal with us. We have not yet found a perfect spot to relocate into. We want a new space that truly honours what Veg Bar is, which may take us some time to acquire. In the meantime, we will still be trading on Uber Eats!
