To a baker, from a baker 🩵

This is the very first time I ordered a cake from a home baker in Sri Lanka for one of my own family occasions, and I honestly couldn’t have chosen better.

From the design to the taste, everything was exactly how I wanted it to be for my sister’s engagement day. 🤍

The most emotional part for me was hearing my family say, “This tastes and looks just like your cakes.” 🥹 And as someone living overseas now, that meant so much to me.

What makes this even more special is that Sale was once my student at university, back when I was teaching at Japura. Seeing her grow into someone running such a beautiful and successful home baking business genuinely makes me proud.

So if anyone in Sri Lanka is missing my cakes while I’m away… I think I found the perfect replacement. 🤍
