We’re absolutely thrilled to celebrate an incredible achievement for Swagman Country Dining at Softfoot Farm — we’ve been named SA Tourism Restaurant of the Year at the 2026 Restaurant & Catering Hostplus Awards for Excellence for the fourth time!

This recognition is a wonderful acknowledgement of the passion, dedication and hard work of our amazing team, along with the support of our wonderful guests who continue to share in the Softfoot experience.

Warm country hospitality, beautiful surroundings and food we’re proud to serve, this award celebrates everything that makes dining at Swagman Country Dining at Softfoot Farm so special.

👨‍🍳 Chef Opportunity – Casual Cover Position
Love hospitality and want to work in one of the Fleurieu Peninsula's most scenic locations?

We're looking for an enthusiastic Chef to join the team at Softfoot Farm in beautiful Hindmarsh Valley. (Accommodation can be provided for successful applicant).

✨ Chargrill experience is an advantage.

This role is to provide leave cover for our permanent Chef on the following dates:
📅 6 – 9 August
📅 5 & 6 September
📅 9 - 11 & 15 - 18 October

With a stunning view from the kitchen, a supportive and friendly team, and excellent working conditions, it's a fantastic opportunity to enjoy coming to work each day.

Ongoing shifts will also be available beyond these dates. Competitive wages above award rates.
