COFFEE PRICING AND TRANSPARENCY:
I have been lucky enough to serve the community of Hervey Bay delicious coffee for near on 10 years now. In that time a lot has changed! We are currently paying 41 percent more for our coffee alone than we were 10 years ago and in turn there has been incremental price increases per cup that now lands at only 29 percent, 10 years later. Factor in rising costs for literally every part of the business and it’s easy to see that the math just ain’t adding up. Here in Australia there is a standardised and expected price for a cup of coffee without a standard of quality and this is where it gets tricky as a business owner. It is my job to understand the needs and expectations of our customers whilst providing the best possible service and product. And I think we do that pretty well. I have been working in the back ground to ensure that our current pricing will remain in place until it is no longer viable. Look it’s inevitable that another price increase is on the way with some big changes kicking in with the new financial year but until then I wanted to offer transparency and continue serving you guys the standard you have come to expect from all of us here at we are extremely grateful for all of your support and look forward to many more years of the good stuff.
