Last week we decided it was time to retire the soup for the warmer weather.

You were NOT impressed. 🤣

So, by popular demand, soup is officially back on the menu this week ONLY — and we’re bringing back a favourite:

🥣 Lamb, Vegetable & Barley Soup

Slow cooked, hearty, homemade and apparently completely acceptable no matter what the thermometer says. 😂

Missed out so far this week? Our soup has been selling out in a flash! 💨🥣 But don’t worry — we make it fresh every day, with another batch that’s been bubbling away in the slow cooker overnight, ready for lunch. ❤️

Is it soup weather? Is it not soup weather? At this point, who even knows? 😂

What we do know is our hearty Country Beef Soup is on today! 🥣

Tender slow-cooked beef, loads of veggies and a rich, homestyle broth — basically a big warm hug in a bowl. ❤️

And if the sun decides it’s not soup weather… we’re eating it anyway. 😉

Well… that’s a wrap for our Lamb, Vegetable & Barley Soup! 🥣❤️

We’ve officially put the recipe back in the cupboard for a few weeks… and what a send-off it had! It sold out every single day this week. 🤯

A huge thank you to everyone who came in for a bowl (or two!). Don’t worry—we’ve got something new bubbling away for next week. 👀

In the meantime, we’re definitely not short on comfort food:
🥓 Loaded Fries (bacon, sweet chilli chicken or pulled pork)
🧀 Beef, Veggie, Pulled Pork or Chicken Nachos
🍽️ Our famous 3-layer homemade lasagne (GF available)
🥪 Fresh wraps, rolls, toasted sandwiches and sandwiches made to order.

And hey… some days you don’t need to overthink lunch. Some days are just chips and gravy kind of days… and we’ve got those too. 😉

After several spoonfuls (purely for quality control purposes, of course), I can confirm that combining tender slow-cooked lamb, wholesome vegetables and 10 hours of simmering creates something pretty magic.

Today’s Lamb & Barley Soup is rich, hearty and guaranteed to warm you from the inside out.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to make sure it’s still as good as it was five minutes ago… 🍲

Confession time…

I had soup for breakfast. 😅

The café smelled soooo good this morning that I couldn’t wait until lunch to dive into a bowl of our homemade Beef & Veg Soup.

And honestly? No regrets.
