TAKING A BREAK ❤️
To all our valued customers, it is with a mix of sadness and happiness that Caliopi and I have decided to step away from Frank & Connie’s Kitchen and Harry’s Hepburn. Our last day of trade for Frank & Connie’s will be Easter Sunday and Harry’s Hepburn will be Easter Monday. Both venues will be going up for sale shortly and we are looking forward to working with Belle Property.
We are incredibly proud of what we have built with the assistance of our families, community and amazing staff, but with the legacy of COVID financially, physically and mentally, plus the current economic climate, we have decided the best option for us personally is to quit while we are ahead, and hopefully pass the reins to someone that will love the venues as much as we do.
We are so grateful for all the opportunities we have been gifted by being in business in this beautiful little town, from the friends that we have made, the amazing growers and makers, the sense of community from our fellow traders, the purchase of our first home, and the staff that just make us smile every day. And a huge thank you to every single person who chose to walk through our doors, serving you has been our absolute pleasure.
In particular we would like to thank our families who have put up with us missing so many milestones, birthdays, dinners and family time, and come and visit us while we are behind the pass or bar. Their contributions, big and small have allowed us to live this amazing life for the last 7.5 years, we honestly couldn’t have done it without you.
And to our staff, past and present, you truly make the venues what they are. We will miss every single one of you and your positivity, support and understanding with our decision has been so heartwarming, we are so very lucky to have you in our lives. What a dream to have such an amazing team! In all our years in the industry, we have never seen such a positive, hardworking and genuinely caring group of humans.
Lastly, we just want to say that small business is what makes this town, and we hope you show the same support we have been so lucky to receive to our fellow traders. Your continued support and kindness go such a long way in small business, more than you know.
We hope that you have to time to join us one last time before the end of Easter and we look forward to some dog walks, dates and downtime while we navigate this next stage of our lives together.
