It is with great sadness that we announce the difficult decision to permanently close The Bodhi Tree effective immediately. After 8 years of serving our community, we have reached the time to say goodbye to our beloved, unique, gorgeous and quaint little space.
We are deeply grateful for the incredible support you've shown us throughout our journey. Your patronage, laughter, support and shared memories have been the heart and soul of our restaurant. We cherish every moment we've had the privilege of hosting your special occasions, casual lunch or dinners, drinks with friends and family and everything in between.
I would personally like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our dedicated Bodhi Crew past and present, who have brought Bodhi to life. I wish them all the best in their future endeavors.
While this is not the news I wished to share, I want to assure you that this decision was not made lightly. This closure breaks my heart but I now need to put my family along with my own health and wellbeing as my number one priority.

For the safety of our staff the Bodhi Tree will be closed this Sunday due to the scorcher of a day that has been predicted!! 39 degrees weather mean our kitchen can sit at 50+ degrees near the pizza oven!! There is no amount of super doopers that can cool our crew down on days like that 😉 The crew hope you all stay cool over the next week and more importantly stay safe! Check on your neighbours, the elderly and put water out for our gorgeous wildlife 🥵🥵🥵

STAGGY HAS BEEN FOUND!!!
Ohh the powers of social media being used for good not evil!! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to everyone in our gorgeous community that shared our post about our missing STAGGY!! He was located near the Graceburn River on Don Rd only 100m from the Bodhi. He does have a new companion though - Walter the wheelbarrow!! If Walter has gone missing from your house (we are presuming somewhere close to the Bodhi) we will keep him safe until his family come and collect him. STAGGY is definitely looking a little worse for wear after his kidnapping however we will give him a new spot to hang on and lots of TLC!! Ohh and by the way - BOSS Lady scoured the footage from Tuesday night around 11.30 and has very clear images of the kidnapper!! Obviously not a fit fella as he only wheeled STAGGY and Walter 100m up the road before he got puffed out!!

MISSING FROM THE BODHI TREE 😭😭. Our beloved Staghorn, or as he is affectionately known “STAGGY” has decided to either unhook his 70kg self, grow legs and escape or he has had an accomplice or 2 to help lift him off the wall and over the Bodhi front fence. We believe that this has happened between 12am Monday morning to 7am Wednesday. Boss lady will be scouring her high tech cameras tonight and forwarding this missing plant case with video evidence to the local police. If any HEALESVILLIANS see this very old grand man looking a bit lost in their travels around the Ville please don’t try to lift him as he weighs a tonne and will shed his pronds in self defence! If you are Staggys mates that helped him escape and maybe put him in a car I would suggest to ring the Bodhi and we will come and pick him up!! REWARD - 10 pizzas of your choice!! A pizza for every decade of Staggys life 😢😢😢
