Hay Golf Results for 12 September2026
Peter Bisset won his 7th Club Championships with a gross score of 254 from Ian Bunyan on 255. B Grade was won by Perry Starr with a score of 272 from Dave Kerr on 274. Mark Pritchard won C Grade with a score of 277 from Brad Tredrea on 282. Mark McLean won the A Grade nett with a score of 224, Haley Hey won B Grade with a score of 223 and Brad Tredrea won C Grade with a score of 222.
In the Betta Homeliving September Monthly Medal, Allan Japp won with a nett 71. The runner up in a countback was Dave Marshall with a nett 72. Ball winners were Peter Bisset, Dave Kerr, Mark McLean and Sam Lugsdin all ne a nett 72.
The novelty winners were Ian Bunyan – BJAS Straight Drive, Mark McLean - Fayle's long putt on the 2nd, Mark Pritchard - Fayle's long putt on the 18th, Mark McLean - long putt on the 10th, Peter Bisset - Money ball on the 7th, Perry Starr - Bowlo nearest the Pin 2nd shot on the 11th, Brad Tredrea - South Hay Hotel Nearest the Pin 2nd shot on the 6th, Dave Marshall - Hay Tyre and Battey long drive on the 15th.
Next weekend is the Hay Golf Open, Saturday in a 4 Ball Best Ball event and Sunday is the Open.

Hay bowlers travel to Tatura for annual triples competition
A committed group of Hay bowlers travelled to Tatura for the annual two-bowl triples competition, joining a strong field of visiting teams for the once-a-year event.
The competition attracted 50 teams, with entries from clubs including Tongala, Bendigo and as far away as Adelaide.
Geoff Lucas, Peter Busch and Katrina Lewis entered as the Hay Bowling Club team, while Phil Ruddick teamed up with two strong bowlers from Stanhope. Nathan Crocker also represented Hay at the event, joining bowlers from Bendigo.
The Hay Bowling Club team did not finish in the top three, but they represented the club proudly with strong sportsmanship and camaraderie throughout the competition.
Phil Ruddick and his two Stanhope teammates enjoyed an outstanding result, taking out first place. On the podium, Phil delivered a warm thank-you and acceptance speech on behalf of the team.
Social bowls were also held at Hay Bowling Club over the weekend; however, no results had been passed on at the time of writing.

Hay Vets Golf Results for 9 September 2026
The winner of the Stableford event was Mark Pritchard with 36 stableford points. Ball winners were Peter Bisset – 33 points, Greg Crocker – 32 points and Rob Young – 30 points.
The novelty winners were Greg Crocker– Straight Drive on the 1st, Nick Maynard - Long Putt on the 3rd, Greg Crocker - Bowlo nearest the pin on the 7th, Nick Maynard - long putt on the 18th, Peter Bisset - Nearest the Pin 2nd shot on the 11th.
