It’s been a while since we last posted, and this isn’t the update we ever imagined sharing.
The Harcourt fires have changed so much. We’ve lost the beautiful Coolstore building, and the devastation in our community has been immense. At the same time, we’ve been deeply moved by the kindness, generosity, and unwavering support shown to us and to so many others. 🧡
We’ve spent recent weeks helping where we can in the relief efforts, and we’ve been truly blessed by the outpouring of love, practical help, and unbelievable offers of support — for us, for Coolstore, and for our community.
A special shoutout to our neighbours at the Cool Stores — many of whom have lost incredible amounts of stock and future income. Our hearts are with you, and we’re standing beside you as we all work through what comes next.
While we are heartbroken by what’s been lost, we’ll be working through the coming weeks to see what’s possible moving forward. For now, we’re taking some time to reconnect with family and friends, to process everything, and to work out next steps.
It’s both daunting and hopeful to think about the future — but above all, we just want to say thank you. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your support, your kindness, and your belief in us and in this community.
