🌿 Supporting Friends of Grasslands
Friends of Grasslands (FOG) is a Canberra-based community group dedicated to protecting and restoring our region’s precious native grasslands and grassy woodlands. They advocate for conservation, educate the community and undertake surveys and on-ground work to help protect these important ecosystems.
Our fundraiser will support Friends of Grasslands’ conservation work, helping protect the native grassland habitats that are vital to the survival of the critically endangered Canberra Grassland Earless Dragon. Protecting and restoring healthy grasslands is an important part of giving this tiny local lizard a future.
The most important way to help is to come along on the day, bring friends and family, donate if you can, and help spread the word. Every person who attends helps raise awareness and support for the cause.
Every little bit helps protect a little dragon and the grasslands it calls home. 🦎
