Owens biggest catch this month!!

A 42cm flathead

Caught on a handline! As the boys were packing up to leave!

This kid is a natural born fisher! He has been the obky one to catch all our good fish! And at the rate he is going he is going to need his own instagram page!

Fishing brings this kid so much joy! And we love watching him doing things he loves!!!

So proud of our little man!

Aye Karumba! What a fun quaint little town. We had so much fun fishing off the rocks for most of our time there.

Owen outfished us all! At the rate he is going he needs his own fishing page!

In 3 fishing sessions he caugh 14 fish including Golden Jewfish and Grunters.

Charlotte caught 2 catfish - 😖 - but she was thrilled regardless!

Dad caught 6 fish and Mum 0!!! 🤣🤦‍♀️

I can only imagine coming back here in 10 years for a fishing trip with a boat!

Week 2: Queensland leg of our lap!

Ft. Charlotte making an appearance, as I had to film inside with kids as it is bucketing rain today!

We are just above our weekly top budget of $1500. However Diesel has been a killer to get to the east coast from Darwin. 🫠🫣😬

Note: These expenses are just what we spent travelling this week. Not our other expenses like insurances, starlink, phones etc. As we budget them separately, as thats what works for us!

Adel's Grove, QLD.

We were headed for Lawn hill, which unfortunely had been closed due to a fire the night before. So we settled for a stop at Adel's Grove. We canoed up the river which was so beautiful. It was only us out there, which was so beautifull. I love that feeling that even though the world is so big, you can be the only person, in one place, doing something. It's so nice to be able to explore these waters. We canoed up to the rapids, and then back. We stopped for a coffee, and picnic lunch, then went for a swim.

Definately worth the visit if heading out to Lawn Hill N.P.

Travel Expenses!

Our real cost of setting up the caravan, and being ready to get back on the road for our Queensland leg of our lap!

These always intrest me! I live being nosy and seeing how much people are spending. So i thought we could share our expenses to!

Travelling Australia is such an amazing lifestyle, abd sometimes it is nore costly than we initially think.

Please note these expenses do not include our insurances, phone costs, starlink, subscriptions or any costs associated with running our property back home, they are simply what we are spending on the road. We choose to split up the costs. To budget and manage those separately.
